NO PLASTIC BAGS IN RECYCLING
Please DO NOT PUT PLASTIC BAGS in your recycling cart! Throw everything in loose - bottles, cans, paper - it can all be sorted at the recycling plant. But DO NOT PUT your recycling in plastic grocery bags or garbage bags! They can clog the sorting machines and SHUT DOWN the ENTIRE recycling plant! If drivers see plastic bags in your cart, they'll leave a notice that they could not pick up your cart. Your cart will not be emptied if plastic bags are found inside. Read more about recycling.
