There's always a new home to hook-up or improvements to make to the electric system. Clayton Public Power is always working!
Tree Trimming Project
Our primary goal at Clayton Public Power is to provide you with safe, reliable, affordable power. Limbs and branches that overhang and either touch or fall on power lines are a major cause of widespread power outages during and after wind, rain or ice storms. That’s why the Town of Clayton uses an aggressive tree-trimming program to help cut down on those outages. Our program is on a 3-year cycle which effectively means 1/3 of the Town’s trees are trimmed each year. Click here to see when your area will be trimmed.
