Pursuant to NC General Statutes 143-129, The Town of Clayton is now accepting sealed bids for the following:

  • The Town of Clayton is soliciting a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the operation of concession stands located at Clayton Community and Legend Parks. Concessionaires will be responsible for the sale of a variety of quality food and drink items at reasonable market prices and of a quantity for all events/activities occurring at Parks & Recreation specified facilities through the Spring and Fall seasons and several tournaments. Contracts will be awarded for 2 years (2017 & 2018) with a yearly evaluation (spring season April – July and fall season August – November) and may be extended beyond that period pending the evaluation.Proposal should be submitted by Monday, February 20, 2017 to:

  • The Town of Clayton is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Comprehensive Multi-Functional Copier and Managed Print Services Cost per Copy Program. The purpose is to obtain pricing for and selection of a vendor to provide a cost per copy program and managed print services for multi-function devices for the Town of Clayton. The vendor shall provide the Town with a multi-function copier solution based on a fixed price per copy Town wide. The Town is requesting pricing for a 60 month term covering a mix of black & white (B&W) and color machines. The Town may elect to extend the term for an additional two year period after the initial term expires. The awarded vendor shall recommend, provide, or remove additional equipment as needed and update or replace equipment as requested by the Town during the term of the contract, at the same rate and within the same term as the original contract.   • The Town of Clayton is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Residential Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) collection and disposal services to firms whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely, cost-effective and quality services for Town customers. The Town intends to select a qualified Contractor to provide collection and disposal services for trash, recyclable materials, special pick-up items and yard waste. The contract resulting from this RFQ will be for a period of five (5) years with options to renew for up to two (2) additional annual periods.   • The Town of Clayton is now accepting bids/proposals for redevelopment of 231 E. Second Street, a downtown building that formerly served as town hall. The Town is looking for a use or uses which will positively contribute to the economic and social environment in Downtown Clayton.  Zoning and building code issues notwithstanding, such uses may include residential, office, or commercial orientation. Bidders will be expected to purchase the structure.  Click on the full request for details on Town, state and federal incentives for this project. A pre-proposal site visit for inspection will be held with interested parties upon request, at a mutually convenient time set by both the proposer and the Town. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope to the office of the Town Clerk, 111 E. Second Street, P.O. Box 879, Clayton, North Carolina no later than Friday July 15, 2016 at 4 p.m. Envelopes must be clearly marked on the outside: 231 East Second Street Proposal with the name and address of the proposer. Electronic submittals will be allowed and must be sent by the deadline to: kmoffett@townofclaytonnc.org.  Electronic submittals should include “231 East Second Street Proposal” in the subject line.
     
  • The Town of Clayton is now accepting sealed bids for Street Light Fixture Replacement with LED Fixtures. Sealed proposals will be received until 2 p.m. local time on July 7, 2016 and opened immediately thereafter and publicly read in the Clayton Operations Center conference room, 653 NC 42 West, Clayton, NC 27520.  Sealed bids should be delivered to the Town of Clayton, 653 NC 42 West, Clayton, NC 27520 or mailed to the Town of Clayton, P.O. Box 879, Clayton, NC 27528.  Attn: Dale Medlin and marked “Proposal for LED Street Lighting Replacement.  Do not open until 2 p.m. on July 7, 2016.   The Town of Clayton shall reserve the right to reject any or all proposals. Bid packages may be obtained by contacting Dale Medlin, Electric System Director, at 919-553-1530 or dmedlin@townofclaytonnc.org during regular business hours.
     
  • The Town of Clayton is now accepting sealed bids for Labor and Equipment for Replacement of Street Lights with LED Fixtures. Sealed proposals will be received until 3 p.m. local time on July 7, 2016 and opened immediately thereafter and publicly read in the Clayton Operations Center conference room, 653 NC 42 West, Clayton, NC 27520. Sealed bids should be delivered to the Town of Clayton, 653 NC 42 West, Clayton, NC 27520 or mailed to the Town of Clayton, P.O.
