Nuisance Abatement

The Town of Clayton has a vigorous program of nuisance abatement including requirements for grass cutting and debris removal, junked and abandoned vehicles, animal control, graffiti removal, water conservation and solid waste enforcement. Clayton employs two civilian enforcement officers under the auspices of the Police Department for administration of the program, each having responsibility for about half of the geographic area of the Town.
