The Clayton Police Department is located in the heart of Downtown Clayton at 315 East Second Street; business offices are open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (except holidays).

Police protection is provided 24 hours a day/365 days a year and is facilitated with the assistance of the Johnston County 911 Communications Center. Clayton is a "911" emergency services community; for ANY police response, dial 911.
