Town of Clayton Cultural Arts Grants:

$20,000 Up for Grabs in 2018

Applications due Monday, May 21, 2018

Since 2008, the Clayton Town Council has designated more than $120,000 in Cultural Arts Grants to individuals and organizations that bring art and cultural events to the Town, spark interest in arts programming, generate new ideas, and reach out to the underserved members our community.

This year, the Town Council has once again confirmed its commitment to the arts  - continuing the available grant total at $20,000!  Applications are available online, and submissions must be emailed or submitted to the Public Information Office at Town Hall by 4 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018.

The Town is looking for creative, innovative projects to help enhance our already blossoming arts community. Among other criteria, we examine each applicant's ability to operate independently and to generate alternative funding. See the application for more information.

Last year, the Clayton Cultural Arts Grants awarded $9,400 to Clayton Youth Theater, $4,600 to Clayton Visual Arts and $6,000 to the Clayton Piano Festival.

Have questions about the grant application? Contact Public Information Officer Stacy Beard at sbeard@TownofClaytonNC.org or 919-358-0348.
