One of The Clayton Center's own Scene Stealer volunteers - Denny Schlindwein - published a book and will be here to sign copies and speak about his experience as a former agent with the U.S. Secret Service on Friday, March 10 at 6:30pm.
Come on out and meet Denny, a long-time Clayton resident-turned-author and former teacher at Clayton High School. The book, titled “Remarkably Unremarkable,” details Denny's career with a focus on his time as a member of President Jimmy Carter’s protection detail. Hear stories of his friendship with President Carter and the Carter family, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Books will be available for purchase on site and a cash bar will be open.
