Town of Clayton elected officials take pleasure in honoring local and national organizations with these ceremonial documents that are issued for public awareness, civic celebrations, arts and cultural celebrations, and events with importance to the citizens of the Town of Clayton.

Letters of Recognition

Have you and your wife been married for 60 years? Would you like the Mayor and Town Council members to specially recognize your marriage?!

The Town of Clayton would love to help recognize special occasions for individuals, families, or organizations such as milestone anniversaries/birthdays, conferences, conventions, reunions, and retirements.

How to Make a Request

Submit a written request at least three weeks in advance to the Town Clerk by email or mail to:

Please include:

Who: Contact person's name, address, telephone number, and email
What: Title or nature of the event
When: Specific date of the event
Why: Brief history of the organization or a biographical summary of the person
