Under the leadership of the Public Art Advisory Board (PAAB), the Clayton community knit and crocheted 150 squares over the course of a year to donate to a secret project.
In October 2023, after assembling the squares into sweaters, members of PAAB and other volunteers descended upon Downtown Clayton to dress 22 trees for the winter season.
In spring 2024, the sweaters were removed, cleaned up, and donated to local shelters for use by pets waiting for their forever homes.
