The Clayton Fire Department offers Child Safety Seat Checks for infants, toddlers, and young children to help families travel with confidence.
Appointments are currently taking place at Clayton Fire Station One, located at 325 West Horne Street.
During your one-on-one appointment, our trained staff will
- show you how to properly install your child’s car seat or booster seat
- check for recalls, expired seats, and wear or damage
- answer your questions and provide hands-on guidance
These appointments are scheduled based on your availability and typically take less than 30 minutes. It’s a quick check that offers peace of mind and could make all the difference in a crash.
